Krav Maga is a self defense system developed by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). It is a simple and effective system that allows a broad spectrum of individuals to learn self-defense. The system is based on instinctive and realistic moves. It is NOT a martial art but a self-defense system that teaches techniques to respond to a variety of attacks from single to multiple attackers who may or may not be armed.

Rick Meure has studied Krav Maga for well over 20 years and holds a Black Belt from Vanguard Krav Maga. He is also a certified Krav Maga Instructor.

Rick can provide an overview of Krav Maga and discuss specific techniques with you but he highly encourages you to contact The Academy of Self Defense in Santa Clara for detailed and long term training.
